The local and regional pilots or models can work from various levels or angles, ranging from a
community that works towards a self-sufficient circular economy and climate neutrality as a whole,
to a community or region that focuses (first of all) on producing (a surplus of) renewable energy food
and/or “green” services. There should be a place for incubation centres and science parks in the project.
The Climate Valley Network project also includes the establishment of platform and network organisation, with a “lasting” sustainable character, taking care of an exchange of knowledge and best practices, working on new (business) models together with the partnership, and developing ideas for follow-up activities and projects, expanding to other (also non-EU) regions, training programmes and future (self-)funding solutions.
More information about the project objective, structure, work packages and actions coming soon.
